Hi There! I’m Dr. Tavia. Welcome to my virtual space. Since my first anatomy class in high school, I have been fascinated by the complexities of human physiology. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at FSU and a Master’s degree in Aging & Neuroscience at USF. I delved deeper into holistic health, guided by a personal health journey and hunger for empowering medical truths. I left a research path to share in the profession and practice that changed my life, chiropractic care. Throughout chiropractic school at National University of Health Sciences(NUHS), I studied Applied Kinesiology in the framework of the Quintessential Applications Protocol. This Protocol prioritizes neurological health and uses nutrients, herbal medicine, meridian therapy and more.  At NUHS, I also studied acupuncture and later became certified to practice in FL.

(It is with deep gratitude that I recognize Dr. Kerry McCord as my mentor, teacher and second father. As well as, Dr. Wally Schmitt, whose lifetime of dedication and research is the foundation which the phenomenal QA protocol is based.)

I enjoy being outside, skating, dancing, rock climbing, and movement of various kinds. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my husband and our two little dog children. I practice and teach mindful movement grounded in breath work and mobility. I believe that education, determination and discipline are they keys to harnessing vitality and longevity. My goal as a physician is to empower my patients to strive for being their best self. Above all else, my greatest love is God. It is deeply humbling to be in the profession and serve in this capacity.
